The location of this accommodation is unbeatable, right in the thick of things. An infinite number of restaurants nearby with delicious food. The service here was good. Our room was a bit on the small side but our friends' room was large. This hotel is spotless and recently renovated. The hallway had an unpleasant smell, however, they had already told us they were attempting to take care of it.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Colón Hotel Barcelona! Located right next to Barcelona's breathtaking Cathedral in the historical gothic quarter, this hotel is a must-visit. Our room was immaculate and the roof-top bar was a highlight of our stay, where we delighted in drinks and Tapas every evening. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were more than accommodating. We highly recommend the Colón Hotel Barcelona and can't wait to come back!
We had arranged a reservation for the early morning upon our arrival, but when we arrived, we were told that the reservation had been cancelled as we were a no show the previous evening. Despite previously communicating our plans, we were told that the staff were unaware of this. They couldn't provide us with any acknowledgement or apology, and the manager was unavailable. Fortunately, some friends of ours were able to help us find another hotel. Unfortunate experience overall - wouldn't recommend.
We had a wonderful experience here during our stay of three days prior to a cruise. Not a single thing to complain about! The staff was amazing and provided us with helpful advice on places to eat and get to tourist areas. Even stored our luggage for the four hours between our arrival and room ready. We had a breathtaking view of the cathedral from our balcony, and the rooftop bar was great too. Breakfast was lovely, with eggs, bacon, all kinds of pastries and cereal. We're already planning our stay here in June next year - we can't recommend it enough!
This beautiful and immaculately clean hotel offers excellent service and is conveniently located right across from the Cathedral. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of staying here for a second time and enjoyed the daily breakfast included.
