I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona with my family, which we booked through a travel website. We were looking forward to the amenities advertised on the website, such as a swimming pool and sauna, but were disappointed to find out upon arrival that they came at an additional cost of £30 per person for a limited time. This information was not mentioned on the website and was quite a letdown. The rooms were okay, and the staff were friendly and willing to help with any issues or changes. However, I do want to mention that there was no bathtub in our room (unless you book a suite) and the shower and divider were not very family-friendly as they were see-through. This made for an awkward situation, especially for a twin bedroom when staying with family members. Overall, the hotel seemed more suited for couples rather than families. Additionally, I had a bad experience with the USB port in the room, as my phone wire melted and burned me while charging overnight. I had to throw it away and it was quite a fire hazard. Also, the location of the hotel was not very convenient for visiting tourist spots, as it was far from the city center and we had to take a taxi multiple times a day. I hope to provide a balanced review, but I must mention that our cleaner entered our room without knocking while one of my family members was inside feeling unwell. She searched every corner of the room, including the toilet, which was very unusual. I would advise being careful with your belongings in case of similar incidents. In conclusion, while my experience at the hotel was average, I wanted to highlight some negative aspects to be aware of before booking.

This accommodation ? is absolutely top-notch! I couldn't ask for more! The service ?, staff ?, rooms ?️, lobby ?, and food ? were all outstanding! The staff ? were like superheroes, treating each guest with the utmost respect and kindness ?. The dining options ?️ were fantastic and breakfast ? service was simply amazing! The rooms ? were spotless, cozy, and modern ?️. The lobby was stunning and welcoming ?. The location ?️ was also perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the metro station ?. I will definitely be coming back here again! ?

During our stay, my family and I had a negative experience with the hotel staff. Despite bringing up a valid concern on the first night, we felt unheard. I even requested a refund so we could relocate to a more satisfactory accommodation, but our request fell on deaf ears. I disclosed the recent passing of my mother, but unfortunately, the staff seemed indifferent to our situation.

This hotel is quite new and it is extremely beautifel -- aestheticaly. Unfortunatly, it was also the property where I had my worst night's sleep evver --- a sleeples night due to the nautre of constrcution. The interior desiner apperantly specified the instalation of floorinng consiting of large flore tiles (24" x 24"?) throughout. Accentinng the areas arond the bed, are beautifuel inset hardwood flors. Even though the flors are stuning, the desiner failed to realize that without aney sound-absorbing materials, the sound can easly travel through the rooms without any restricton. It was not only a horizontal sound issue, but it also traveled verticallly from floor to floor witout any hindrance. As someone who normally sleeps very deeply, even the sounds of airplans taking off and landing at airport hotels don't bother me. However, in this hotel, I woke up at least a dozan times during the night. It seems like the entire building has a problum. The sound-deadning materials were not properly implemented during the construction phase. Eaven the conversations of other guests in the hallway were easly audible in my room. Unfortunatly, my room was located close to a glass and bottle recycle area where the housekeping staff constantly dropped off bags of glass bottles. These unwaranted sounds, courtesy of the hotel staff, made for a terible night. I had an early flight the next morning from BCN. After calling guest services twice during the night to complain, I finaly got up, showered, had a quick chat with the manager on duty, and left for the airport by 5 AM. It pains me to write this as I am a huge fan of Hyatt. I have always found their properties to be top-notch with excellent amenities and service. However, this location, part of Hyatt's "Uboud Collection," could easily be renamed as the "No Sleep Collection." In my humble oppinion, this hotel needs a compelete review by an audio engeneer. I'm sure there is a soluton to this issue, but as it stands now, I wouldn't suggest anyone go back to this hotel. I paid $384.63 for one night. The TRUE value (with no sleep): $0.
