Grand Hyatt Barcelona

My stay at Hotel SOFIA Barcelona, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment my family and I arrived, we were blown away by the amazing location, friendly and helpful staff, and the attention to detail that made our trip truly special. For those who are unsure about choosing this hotel, let me assure you that the location could not be better. Situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, it provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. However, it was only a short 15-minute taxi ride to the main attractions, which were always easily accessible. Additionally, the nearby shopping centers were even better than those in the city center, in my opinion, making it the perfect place for some retail therapy. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It truly made our family trip to Barcelona unforgettable.

My recent stay at this hotel in Barcelona was an exceptional one. While the location may not be bustling with activity, it is a mere 5-minute walk from the nearest Metro Station making it easily accessible. The room was top-notch, the staff were attentive and the breakfast was nothing short of five-star quality. Overall, it was a truly great experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stayed here for 6 nights for a work trip. ?️ The hotel is modern and updated, ? but the service was lacking. ? It's also quite far from the major sites. ? Rooms: ? The rooms were modern and updated, but some things like the telephone ? were difficult to use. The windows were not noise cancelling, so you could hear everything from the street. ? The robes were also tiny and barely fit, even for a thin woman like myself. The elevators were not programmed correctly, which meant waiting a long time to go up or down. ⌛ Food: ⭐️⭐️ We had breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant, but found the portions small and nothing special. ?️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Check-in was easy and the staff were nice enough, but I had to ask 3x for simple things to be addressed. Also, when calling the main number, no one ever picked up. ☎️ Location: ⭐️⭐️ Abundance of cabs nearby and the El Cortes Ingles mall is right down the street, as well as restaurants and coffee shops. ☕ But if you want to do touristy things, be prepared for 20-30 mins in traffic. ? Overall, an okay stay but not the best. ?‍♀️

The variety of food options was impressive and the breakfast was truly amazing. The staff were attentive, helpful and always polite, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. The highlight of my trip was the fantastic and incredibly relaxing spa. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay in Barcelona.
