The location was great, with metro and bus stops just around the corner. However, I had issues with the pool area. When I arrived there, I was told that one side of the pool was for people staying at other hotels who were paying for the spot. As a paying guest of the hotel, I find it unacceptable. It also seemed like waiters favored those customers and it took us ages to get food and drinks even though we were staying there. On top of that, the elevators were very slow and only two were working. The staff in the restaurants on the main floor were also very impolite when I asked to see a menu. Fortunately, the only positive thing was the buffet breakfast, which was decent, as we had the option of either going to the executive level or the public level.

Using the Airport taxis to get here was 42 Euro, and 37 Euro going back using the adjacent taxi rank. We were upgraded to the executive 23rd floor room which was great - it had a large TV with some English language movies on channels 042 and 049. The first three days of our stay were really good; the staff were lovely, the breakfast was great and the beach was a 5 minute walk away. The next three days weren't as good as the hotel was really busy with conference delegates. It was hard to get a seat for breakfast and the offering in the executive lounge was not good. The lifts were always busy and one was out of service, while the pool area was run by a third party and it was hard to find space. The music was loud and a bit of an acquired taste, and people were smoking which was really unpleasant. Overall this was a mixed experience for us. We would return but not during a conference.

This hotel had a great location right across from a large mall with plenty of restaurants, an imax theater and open spaces for kids to play. The physical hotel was really nice, with a deep soaker tub and a hand held and rain shower. Just be careful if you have any physical ailments as the tub is deep, narrow and slippery. There was also a hand rail but I had difficulty getting out. I enjoyed a relaxing soak while listening to jazz and drinking a glass of wine. The view was nice and the bed was comfortable. The TV was a 50 inch but bring downloads if you don't speak Spanish - I only found three English channels plus one French news channel. The outdoor area was nice but the staff there seemed strange. The rest of the staff were great though. Use Google Translate to ask housekeeping for whatever you need and they'll deliver it. I stayed three days and it was an enjoyable visit. Plus, there's a convenient bus stop and cab stand right outside the hotel. I was with a group of 12 and everyone enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, from David in the Executive Lounge to the whole team at breakfast. We felt like we were part of the family! We will be back for sure!

This hotel offers a great location, with a mall just across the road and the beach only minutes away. The nearby metro station is very convenient and easy to access. The pool area is lovely and the Executive Lounge offers some nice drinks, although the coffee isn't great. The rooms are spotless and the housekeeping is efficient. The lifts are in the process of being upgraded, which can be a bit of a hassle, but it wasn't too disruptive to our stay.
