I stayed at Hotel Barcelona Universal recently and had a great time. The location is absolutely perfect; you have all the attractions of La Rambla a 10 minute walk away, and the metro which is conveniently located right outside the property. The room was clean and comfy, with a big bed, a good shower and all the amenities you need like a safe and a fridge. The staff were really friendly and professional and overall, I had a great experience. I didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast there, but, from what I saw, it seemed very popular. I would definitely return on my next visit to Barcelona!
We had such a great time staying at Hotel Barcelona Universal. It was in a great location and close to a lot of amazing attractions. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a good variety of both hot and cold food. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was spotty as it worked well for the first two days and had a problem for our last day. The room came with an electric kettle for hot water needs which was very convenient. The lobby had additional amenities to offer and the roof provided a beautiful overview of Barcelona. All in all, a great stay!
Overall, Hotel Barcelona Universal was great! The location is so convenient, right next to a metro so you can explore the city with ease. Room was basic, but all we needed for our trip and the staff was friendly. My only suggestion is that the sheets be fresher, as many had stains. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again!
I had an amazing experience at Barcelona Universal Hotel. The location was great, just a few steps away from the metro station, and the staff were incredibly friendly - they even allowed an early check-in. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, and the bed was really comfortable. The heating worked perfectly, and I was pleased to find a towel dryer. My only complaint was that there was a bit of dirt left behind in the bathtub, but I am still very satisfied overall.
Hotel Barcelona Universal is a great spot for a weekend away. It is super centrally located with a metro stop at the front steps which we used as our main method of transport. It was close enough to feel like you were in the city but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were simple and basic but had everything we needed, the bed was large and comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did however have a room facing the main road and it was quite noisy at times but it didn't really bother us too much. Overall it was a great stay, we would definitely stay here if we return.
