I had high expectations for my stay at Hotel Barcelona Universal due to the favourable reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. Having arrived quite late on the evening, the friendly staff ensured that I was able to check in swiftly and easily. The room was modern, spotlessly clean and offered all the amenities I could need. The pool area was great, the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering plenty of options for both sweet and savoury preferences. I'm pleased to say I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and I will definitely return in the future.

I had a great stay at Hotel Barcelona Universal. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, always smiling. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The location was great, just a few minutes away from La Rambla, Marina and the beach. There were also plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the area. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend this hotel.
Had a fantastic time at Hotel Barcelona Universal - it had everything we needed and more! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they made our stay even more special by serving me Cava and cake with a candle on my birthday. Our room was comfortable and clean, although the decor was a bit outdated. The great location right outside the metro station made it easy to get to the main attractions, although we could hear some street noise at night from the 6th floor. We also stumbled upon the delicious tapas bar La Prudencia Del Raval just around the corner; it was the perfect place to relax and sample some of the best Negroni and wine. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!
Just stayed at the Barcelona Universal Hotel this past weekend, and we had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect - right outside the metro stop, and a bus stop just a few meters away. This was so convenient for exploring the city - exactly what we wanted. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of choices. Highly recommend this hotel - it was perfect for our family of four, my parents and my two children aged 9 and 11. Would definitely stay here again!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Barcelona Universal. The staff were helpful and accommodating and the room I stayed in (Room 222) was comfortable and had a large terrace with a great view. It was so serene and peaceful! The room was cleaned daily, and the bed linen was replaced, so the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. As well as that, there were plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and attractions close by. I highly recommend this hotel and I'm sure to stay there again in the future. Thank you!
