This particular hotel offers incredible views of the city and harbour right from its secluded location. It's conveniently close to a lot of nightlife, and taxis are very easy to come by at an affordable price. The staff are outstanding, incredibly helpful and welcoming, and our plush room was filled with technology to make our stay even more pleasant. The European-style breakfast buffet had everything necessary for a good start to the day, and the rooftop bars and music made for a really enjoyable experience. There is great use of technology throughout the hotel, giving it that extra special touch. Highly recommended all round.
Overall this is a beautiful and imposing building which made for a good stay overall. We stayed as a family for 5 days and found the pool and beach to be great for couples and children alike. Even with good service, there were some areas of improvement to achieve that "wow" factor. Rooms were well-appointed and had incredible views.
The Fire restaurant provided consistent good food and good service, but their churros were inedible and there were many flies around the pastries and fruit, which was very off-putting. Salt was overly salty and there were many items that were unavailable such as lobster and pistachio ice cream. Soft drinks were only provided in 200ml bottles, which was quite annoying.
The pool only had limited food options, but the beach service was quick and efficient. The downside was that there were homeless people and hawkers there because the entrance to the hotel was often unguarded.
We had a great view from our room and didn't hear any nightlife. The only issue was that we had to ask for multiple bottles of water every day.
The atmosphere differs much in the day and after 7pm when there appears to be a lot of people who don't seem to be paying guests. This has a negative effect on the level of service, and the half the elevators are used for those wanting to go to the club/bar in the hotel. We also noticed that the GM was often seen walking around but never interacted with any guests.
Overall, it was a good stay, with areas of improvement needing to be addressed.
The service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. Though the pools were quite busy on the weekends, we were still able to grab a spot on the sun deck. We had a marvelous stay and look forward to returning in the future.
I recently stayed at this ? and had an incredible experience! The rooftop ? was phenomenal and the cocktails ? served by Vivian were out of this world. Not to mention how beautiful the hotel was- definitely a must-see in Barcelona! The room was spotless ? and the views were perfect for tons of ? Instagram pics. On top of that, you could really get a sense of the city and its landmarks ?. Highly recommend! ??
Always stayed in downtown hotels before, but this time we decided to pick something near the beach. This iconic building was an obvious choice. Checking in and out was a breeze and the rooms on the fourth floor were absolutely gorgeous and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast and dinner at their Fire restaurant were great. The hotel swimming pools were impeccably clean with more than enough deck chairs to go around. The spa services were amazing. All the staff we encountered were incredibly helpful. If we had to mention one negative aspect, it would be the noise level- this is a party hotel, so the music can be heard very far away. If that's what you're looking for, this is the place to go.
