This hotel is gorgeous, clean, and perfectly situated, easily navigable by foot. Our room had an incredible view. It was bustling with activity since not only were there guests, but also pre-cruise travelers. I'm already planning to come back, but please check your folio before departing, as any issues afterwards are hard to resolve. Additionally, if you're looking to take the Hop on Hop off service, be mindful that it's about a 15 minute walk away and it's great way to tour the city.
This place was simply phenomenal. The room we stayed in had an absolutely sensational view of the marina from the 19th floor. To make the most out of it, we'd highly suggest a higher floor room (up to the 25th). The beach was just a stone's throw away and if you were feeling up to it, you could walk all the way into town. For a more leisurely activity, there was a stand-up paddle board shop within walking distance. Paddling in the lagoon offered a stunning view of the place. The staff were a real joy and made us feel welcomed from the minute we arrived. We especially appreciate the effort they made in returning my wedding rings which I had left behind in a pool lounger. Talk about service! Both the wet and sun deck pools were fabulous. Even in the chill of early May, it was warm enough for us to take a seat in a lounger and order surprisingly yummy food and drinks. On top of that, the restaurants close by were a real treat. After a mere 3 nights here, we were already planning our return!
The Good: * Every contact with staff, via room service, restaurants, etc., they'll ask about any pending issues or requests. * Lovely and cordial hostess * Cool and attentive bartender served my favorite tonic. * Great views * Plentiful breakfast options (extra $) The Not so Good - Glass door at entry way misaligned, jams against wall, does not close - WiFi cast from laptop to TV not connecting - Missing trash can upon check-in. - Ceiling leaking in hallway for two days, hall carpet soaked - Room change after water shut off on entire floor for unknown problems. Maybe related to leaky ceiling. - New room had similar glass door issue, overlapping glass doors between toilet and shower. - New room's tub also had shabby workmanship. - The bench at the foot of the bed was visibly soiled. - These new energy efficient lighting is pretty worthless for shaving, even with the makeup mirror. - The a/c cooled but never heated the room on cooler nights. It wasn't a deal breaker but I did expect better for the price.
Our stay was enjoyable due to the stunning views from our room. The hotel staff were incredibly hospitable and helpful. We found the room to be very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was utterly delicious, with a wide range of options. The hotel's position was ideal for a stroll along the seaside.
This place was incredible! I was awestruck by the beautiful sights from my room, and the staff were all unbelievably friendly. In the evening, there was an incredible atmosphere with an open fire, delicious cocktails, and a DJ. I could only stay for a single night, but I'll definitely be returning for a longer vacation soon.
