The second W Hotel established in Europe is the one of Barcelona: W Barcelona opened its doors in October 2009 and one can say that it has already reached the reputation of its famous predecessors of the Starwood Group… Called the Sail, this building designed by the Master Ricardo Bofill is ideally located on the beach, on the entry of the port, in the district of Barceloneta.

The amenities are top notch, from the spa to the infinity pool there is plenty to do. I highly recommend the W for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.
I absolutely loved staying at the W Barcelona. It's conveniently located on the beach and the city is just a short taxi ride away. The rooms are modernly styled and incredibly comfortable with stunning views of the ocean. The staff is excellent and you can tell they genuinely care about making your stay enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious with a variety of restaurants to choose from. As far as amenities go, the spa and infinity pool were incredible and provided much needed relaxation. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil retreat to stay here.
We highly recommend W Barcelona for anyone who is looking for a great and comfortable stay! The rooms have an amazing view and provide a lot of luxury amenities. The food at the Fire restaurant was superb, and the staff, especially Mercedes and Claudio, gave us excellent attention and service. We will definitely be staying again soon!
The W Barcelona is a gorgous hotel and the views from the room are amazing! Unfortunately, the service was far from satisfactory. I was extremely disappointed when the manager and reception staff were not very supportive after I checked out. I had forgotten something important in the safe and returned to the reception, but they told me that I couldn't access the room as it had already been cleaned. Despite the policy that someone should be accompanying me, they refused to allow it. I asked for the manager, and he was unhelpful and rude. My experience with the reception and housekeeping staff was unprofessional and left me feeling quite upset. The room was lovely, though the furniture seemed a bit dated and the shower leaked. Despite the negative experience I had, I hope my stay here will be more enjoyable next time.
Staff were all so courteous and accommodating. The rooms were breathtaking and the view was stunning. I loved the complimentary breakfast spread, and the music was a delight after 1am. The only downside was that I was went in expecting a King room, but was given a Twin instead. Aside from that, the stay was brilliant. Highly recommend this hotel! Thanks W Barcelona!
I had a wonderful stay at the W Barcelona. The staff were amazing, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, the room was comfy and quiet, and the view was breathtaking. What made the experience extra special was the birthday surprise they had arranged, it was something I'll remember forever! The location was also incredibly convenient. The only downside was the bathroom, which was open and divided with a glass door to the bedroom, but apart from that it was a truly remarkable stay. I'm extremely grateful to the staff at the W for making my stay even more memorable.
