On the whole - decent but I'm not sure I'd stay there again.
The W Barcelona was a let-down all around. We got there and the rooms weren't very clean - dirty floors, bottle caps everywhere! We asked the reception to have it cleaned and they acted like it was a bother, not offering an apology. The suites were just basic, but the view of the sea was stunning. The restaurants were actually decent, if a bit overpriced. The bars had a great party vibe, but that didn't make up for the overall experience. All-in-all, a decent stay but I likely wouldn't stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay immensely and would stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay at the W Barcelona and we highly recommend it! The beautiful beachside location was perfect for us and the 2 mile walk to the city centre was a wonderful way to explore. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly, helpful staff. We were pleasantly surprised to be told that our room was ready and that it had been upgraded. What a great surprise! The room was very clean and spacious, with all the amenities you could want, and with a view of the beach and city. Breakfast was amazing with so much to choose from and we could not have been happier with our stay. If we ever visit Barcelona again, we will definitely stay at the W Barcelona and can not recommend it highly enough!
I recently stayed at the W Barcelona and had an incredible experience. The service was top-notch, with staff going out of their way to make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. A huge thanks to Claudia Fernandez at the front desk for arranging for my missing passport to be collected and sent to the hotel. Special mention also goes to Luisa who really made a couple’s day special with a birthday cake. She even gave me a small surprise for my kind words. This is one hotel I would highly recommend! Everything, from the friendly staff to the luxurious amenities, made my stay so memorable, I can’t wait to book my next stay.
The reception, check-in and check-out process all ran like clockwork and the logistics staff could not have been more helpful. The rooms was sizable, comfortable, and with the ‘real-time’ check-in and check-out seemed to me to be a very efficient operation. The food, both in the restaurant and at the bars, was of a good standard, and with a decent breakfast selection in the morning. If I had to find a fault - and this is purely personal preference then it would be the volume of bass played in the lobby. But you can’t have it all. All in all a great stay and I highly recommend the W Hotel Barcelona.
I had an excellent stay at the W Hotel Barcelona, and it didn't take long to see why. From the outside the hotel looks great, and the inside is even better. The views are amazing, especially overlooking the beach. The food and service was also outstanding, and the conference was expertly handled by the hotel logistics staff. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and check-in and out ran very smoothly. Everything was of a great standard, and I couldn't fault it. The only issue I had was the loud bass in the lobby, which was a minor inconvenience. All in all, this was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend the W Hotel Barcelona.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the W Barcelona and it was absolutely incredible! The location is simply stunning and I could not have asked for a more spectacular view. The rooms were immaculately decorated and wonderfully comfortable. I especially loved the modern art pieces that adorned the walls. The service was top notch and the staff were friendly and attentive. The pool area was the perfect spot to relax and take in the amazing panoramic views the hotel has to offer. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, particularly the poke bowl and Sunday cheesecake. I would recommend the W Barcelona to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay.
